You should probably skip the first block of text. It's just talking to myself about future KoL plans.

So there are apparently special cookbooks for Pastamancer spells that work like Gazpacho's Glacial Grimorie or the Codex of Capsaicin Conjuration, only for the other three elements. The bonus spell damage from using the Necrotelicomnicon with Dirge of Dreadfulness is 2 damage more than the bonus from just using the Kickback Cookbook, so at the very least I need to get that one. Having the others on hand for pinpoint Minor Ray of Somethings seems like a good idea, too. The only problem is, once I have them all, I'm going to sorta want to Permanent Minor Ray of Something... BUT NO!
Here's the plan, mann. This Ascention, Pastamancer, Cantiloni Cocoon. Then, for my 5th Ascention, Accordian Theif under a Moxie sign, permanent Torso Awaregness for hot shirt action. After that, I'm not so sure. I could do Pastamancer for Minor Ray of Something, or I could do Disco Bandit for Nimble Fingers, or I could do Seal Clubber for Hide of the Walrus.
Anyway, this is all more planning than I probably need to do.

So the more I think about, the more I really really really enjoyed The Cat Returns. So much so, that I'm probably going to pick up a copy of it, as well as a copy of the manga it was based on. It was just so cute. The art was wonderful, of course, because it was Studio Ghibli. But it had more of a plot than, say, Totoro. But the plot was small and complete, like Kiki. It was a sorta about confidence in what you want and going to get it, I think. Also, did I mention it was cute? It was very cute. If I had a complaint about it, it was silly things that don't really make sense with the plot, like wanting Haru and Baron to hook up. Baron needed some loving! But anyway, I seriously enjoyed it. It makes me smile. I suggest it. Yes indeed.

Let's see, what else... I'm sad that the only "ranked" online mode in Planet Puzzle League appears to be the weird-ass "Birthday Battle" mode, where I can only play against and be ranked against people with my birthday. There are never going to be enough people online for me to have a solid pool of people born on March 24th to play with. It's really kinda silly. I suppose I'll just have to be happy with Free Play Battles, and battles with people on Talking Time... speaking of which, I played M. Nicholai. Beat him 4-0. Wheee, I'm glad I still got it. I love that game so fucking much when I get into it. Gets what little competative juices I have flowing.
